Direct Trading: Discouraged but not Prohibited
Direct trading, from business to business, or person to person, without going through this site, is discouraged but not prohibited. There is no way we can prohibit anyone from using this site to find something they need, and then bypassing the system and trade directly with the businesses. If Club Rad was a "for-profit" company, we would have to prohibit all direct trading. However, we do not wish to regulate or enforce this, we would like to inform you on some disadvantages of direct trading.
Direct trading works best if two mutual people/businesses wish to trade what each other.
Direct trading will only work if:
- both parties want what the other offers
- the exchange is of equal value, otherwise some sort of accounting system is required
- if there is a debt on one of the parties end, because the amount traded what not of equal value, then there would need to be some way to enforce payment
Another benefit of using your trade account, even if you have the ability to trade directly, is that it is beneficial to you to use your credit. If for some reason you decided to leave the network, and you had 10,000 points still you could use, you would not be able to use them unless you were part of this network.
We suggest all members track their accounts, and balance your buying and selling. For instance, if you only sell, and don't buy, then you end up having a huge account, and may find it difficult to spend. You don't need to keep your account as low as possible, but just try to balance.
